A note from State Rep. Anthony Brown:

Dear Friends,

Tuesday night brought a historic wave on behalf of Republicans both nationwide and in Kansas. Here in Distrct 38, I was honored to receive the support of 68% of voters, a total that would not have been possible without the help of so many wonderful volunteers who stepped forward to assist my campaign. I want to thank each and every one of you for all the help you gave me.

As we move forward toward the inauguration of Governor Brownback and a new class of state legislators, including 16 more Republicans, we must not forget the strong message that was sent on November 2 and the profound opportunities we have to steer our state in a positive direction. We have hard work to do, particularly when it comes to restoring fiscal discipline to our state, making Kansas economically healthy and attractive for businesses and famiiles, respecting the principle of limited government, and always ensuring that Kansas values are represented in our laws.

With that in mind, I look ahead towards the 2011 legislative session with great anticipation and optimism about the road ahead of us. I look forward to continuing to communciate with you about the progress we are making for all Kansans.
