Energy Independence
The rising price of energy is stretching family budgets to their limits. Access to affordable and environmentally responsible energy is vitally important. I support the elimination of government barriers to safe clean domestic energy production and the development of environmentally friendly alternative energy.

Education Excellence
We enjoy superior schools in our area and we need to keep our control and our money here instead of Topeka. The current school funding formula is broken and robbing our schools of necessary resources. We send 27% of all state revenue for schools to Topeka, we have 18% of all the students in Kansas, and we receive less than 10% in return for our schools. We must do better.

Efficient State Government
Kansas families know how to weather tough times. It is time for government to do the same: cut down on wasteful, unecessary spending. I have a proven voting record of being willing to make tough fiscal decisions.
